Color Matching Capability
Our expertise enables color matching across all colors including those high saturated color using transparent, translucent or non-transparent base material.
After color matching, we ensure tight tolerance control on color LAB and dE94. The dE94 between our final product and color target can be controlled within 0.50.
Besides, we able to optimize the material formulation based on different color target to ensure the mechanical properties and other specific features such as fire retardant and chemical resistance meet end product requirements.
Bespoke Silicone Application
Fire Retardant
In nature, the base silicone itself do not have fire retardant feature. Compatible fire retardant additive is added to the base silicone so that the fire spread is delayed by the formation of a protective layer on the surface of a material. The protective layer isolates the product from open air oxygen which act as the
combustion air.
However, after fire retardant additive is added, the mechanical properties including the tensile strength, elongation and tear strength degrade if compared to the base silicone.
With our expertise in silicone compounding, our fire retardant silicone is specially formulated to meet the raw material UL-94 vertical burning standard and raw cable UL-2556 VW-1 standard. At the same time, our fire retardant silicone also meet the UL aging test standard.
High Density
Currently, FKM material is used for wearable product application but FKM contains fluorine substance. European Union (EU) will restrict the usage of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) which include fluorine substance by year 2026. So, many customers are proactively seeking the replacement of FKM
material.
Our team had formulated a customized high density silicone for wearable product application. The hand touch and soft touch feeling of our high density silicone watch band are similar with the existing FKM watch band.
Besides, the mechanical property, chemical resistance and reliability test performance of the high density silicone watch band are similar with the FKM watch band.
Recycle Capability
Current silicone material manufacturers use all virgin materials to produce the
silicone rubber. Silicone waste including industrial and consumer scrap are
normally crushed into debris and land filled. It is more eco-friendly to recycle
silicone than to create new silicone. There are two type of recycled silicones
which are post-industrial recycle (PIR) and post-consumer recycle (PCR).
The process of recycling silicone involves breaking the material down into tiny
pieces, which are ground up and heated to an extremely high temperature. The
resulting vapors are then cooled and collected as a liquid. The scientific term for
this liquid is dimethylcyclosiloxane (DMC). Thereafter, DMC goes through multiple
filtration processes until it can be transformed into silicone oil, which is used to
create new silicone products through silicone compunding process.
Our recycling process and supply chain are certified by SCS Global and Global
Recycle Standard (GRS). The recycled content source for every batch of recycled
silicone is traceable.
PCTG
High Temp, High Chemical Resistance and Good Molding Capability
Our customized PCTG co-polyester consists of cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM), terephthalic acid (TPA) and ethylene glycol (EG).
The PCTG resin has outstanding features include high clarity, excellent heat & chemical resistance and high impact strength. This product also complies to the FDA food grade standard.
It is suitable in the application of water/sports bottle, cosmetic product container, E-cigarette nicotine oil container and others application which require high clarity and excellent heat resistance.
